About Me

I was born and raised in South Glastonbury, Connecticut before moving to the Charlottesville, Virginia area. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture with a concentration in Landscape Design as well as a minor in Psychology. My interests in the field pertain heavily to how natural spaces can influence and improve human mental and physical health.

My favorite authors are: Sylvia Plath, Mary Oliver, Anne Sexton, Pablo Neruda, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Janice Mirikitani, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I love poetry just as much as I love a dark, gripping narrative, and I have a particular soft spot for magical realism. When I’m not writing, I’m gardening, cooking, tending to my lovely egg-laying hens, and dealing with the daily misadventures of my two cats, Gus and Simba.

What People Say

No matter what people are going through in their lives, they would be able to love, laugh, and cry over this book.
